Morning Light

George Pruteanu

Come,
Bathe in freshest
Sunbeams
Of the day,
Regardless of the taunts of
Demon fears
Recalling you to last night's
Slavery.

Light and life spring out
From every space,
The Son arrives to set you
Truly free.

  1. It is so beautiful, Janie! I also love that picture, though I am not sure if you took it.

    1. Thanks, Clara. The photo isn't mine; just one that I found online. My photos usually don't have a caption, whereas I try to credit the other photos I use back to the original photographer, or at least the website where I found them.
