Sonrise

Sonlight breaks over the rim of Darkness, Routing the hosts of Death and Despair. Sonlight breaks out and the Son arises, Shining His glory-light everywhere. Darkness is vanquished, Hope is rekindled, Hearts leap high with passionate Love. Sorrow and Mourning are distant nightmares, Shadowed and dimmmed by Sonlight above.

Sunset Imaginings

A rift of clouds is forming, Low across the western sky. In their midst the sun is setting Like a baleful, glowing eye. A dragon head my fancy forms Amongst the greying clouds. The sun becomes a dragon's orb, Red glaring from the shrouds. Still now! Do not speak or move! The dragon's eye is turning! North and South he bends his gaze, All wrathful, hot and burning. Magic falls upon the world, A dragon spell is casting. From that eye enchantment comes; Doom, death, and fire blasting. Silent earth is bathed in red, Each grass and tree and flower Outlined in the gory hue That comes from dragon power. Lo! Along the western hills Devouring flames have started. The world soon swept in raging fire That dragon gaze has darted. Behold! The eye is closing And dragon spells are broken. Red light fades as flames die out And night time is awoken.

Autumn Departure Song

Some of you may remember my poem, Autumn Departure . Well, my amazing friend, Zhenya, got ahold of that poem and fitted it with a tune she composed. Then, her sister, Erin, and brother-in-law, Robert, took the song and...well, I will let you hear the result for yourself: Autumn Departure Song

Where Will We Stand?

Where will we stand when the darkness comes? What will we do When shadows fall And we see all We ever knew Put to the test? Where will we stand when it comes to war? Will we bravely fight When hope seems gone And on and on The hosts of night Sweep over us? Where will we stand when our doubts assail? Will we still believe That love is strong? That we belong? Will peace relieve Our aching hearts? Where will we stand when oppression comes? Will we take the shame, The grief and loss, The heavy cross, And strive to claim A victory? Where will we stand on the judgment day? With our deep souls bared? Where thoughts unsaid And truths we fled And sins unshared Are brought to light. Where will we stand when the kingdom comes? Will our hearts embrace A Lord long - known, When He is shown In splendid grace And majesty? Where will we stand?
